La compétitrice italienne Laura Rogora vient d’annoncer ce matin avoir réalisé la seconde ascension de la voie la plus dure de la botte, “Erebor” 9b/+ à Eremo di San Paolo, Arco. Ouverte et libérée par Stefano Ghisolfi en janvier dernier, cette voie offre une escalade très résistante sur prises minuscules avec un double jeté en guise de crux du milieu, avant un pas de bloc sommital dur à négocier.
Si la cotation de la voie venait à être confirmée, il s’agirait de la perf’ féminine la plus élevée de tous les temps, puisque jusqu’alors seules Angie Eiter (“Madame Ching”, “La Planta de Shiva”), Julia Chanourdie (“Eagle-4”) et Laura Rogora (“Ali Hulk sit start extension total”) avaient réalisé du 9b.

Italian top climber Laura Rogora just published this morning having climbed Italy’s hardest route with the second ascent of “Erebor”, Eremo Di San Paolo, Arco. Bolted and freed by Stefano Ghisolfi at the beginning of the year, this resistance testpiece on tiny holds offers a double dyno middle crux before a complicated and low percentage top section under the anchor.
If the grade is confirmed, it will be the best female rock climbing performance. Only Angie Eiter (“Madame Ching”, “La planta de Shiva”), Julia Chanourdie (“Eagle-4”) and Laura (“Ali Hulk extension total sit start”) have climbed 9b before.

La jeune top grimpeuse italienne Laura Rogora (19 ans) vient de réaliser un nouveau 9a+ avec la seconde ascension de la dernière voie extrême libérée par Stefano Ghisolfi, “Terapia d’Urto” à Padaro (Arco). Cette voie courte et intense est une connexion entre toute la partie dure de “Larciere” 8c et le 8c+ de “Goosfraba” que Laura avait répété mi-mars. La vidéo de la première ascension par Stefano est à visionner ci-dessous. C’est la 3ème voie de ce niveau de la grimpeuse transalpine qui avait déjà réalisé à Arco “Pure dreaming plus” (Massone) et “The Bow” (Padaro). On rappelle que Laura avait réalisé le second féminin mondial avec “Ali hulk extension sit start” à Rodellar l’été dernier.

Young top climber from Italy Laura Rogora (19 years old) just climbed a new 9a+ with the 2nd ascent of “Terapia d’Urto” at Padaro, Arco. This short and intense route is a link in a little cave between hard part of “L’Arciere” (8c) and “Goosfraba” 8c+ that Laura repeated in March. The video of the first ascent by Stefano Ghisolfi is below. It’s the 3rd 9a+ repeated by the Italian star who also did last year “Pure dreaming plus” (Massone) and “The Bow” in Padaro. Notice that Laura claimed the 2nd female 9b with “Ali Hulk extension sit start” in Rodellar in July.
